Our mission is to prevent and maintain a zero tolerance of bullying in our schools, work place, and community. We focus on intervening, reducing, preventing, and eliminating bullying, cyber bullying, sexting and other digital abuse, educating against homophobia, racism and hatred, decreasing school absenteeism, and deterring violence in schools, online and in our communities. We are adamant in creating and maintaining empowerment in our youth and young adults by raising self-esteem, creating self-awareness, self-control, and influencing a more imposed unity that will decrease and eliminate violence limiting new additions and involvement of gangs and social clicks.
It is very imperative for us to create peace in order to create focus in our youth on education and life skills needed to be productive in society, as well as to inspire pro-social relationships, strong interpersonal skills, and instill a sense of hope in the future. We realize that in this generation and the generations of our future, that empowering youth will help them to establish goals and follow through on commitments. Within our procedure to prevent and provide bully intervention, we are always cautious in our approach with course of action. Bully prevention and intervention is not all about punishment. It is about expanding the perspective of young people to make them aware of life’s possibilities and the consequences for their actions.
There are times when it deems necessary that we must display tough love and being reluctant to provide it is not an option; Whether it is a member of our staff or one of our volunteers every youth we encounter will always be surrounded by a caring, inclusive empowered environment that will dramatically influence them in every positive way possible.
