SAVE 10 R.H.Y.P.

The SAVE 10 R.H.Y.P. (SAVE 10 RUNAWAY HOMELESS YOUTH PROGRAM) provides local emergency services available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for all youth and families in crisis. Youth may access our services on their own and with no fee. Each service will address the youths’ basic needs (food, shelter, clothing, safety, access to health) as well as supportive counseling services in an attempt to resolve the problems that caused the youth to run away or contemplate running away. If returning home is not an option, staff work with the youth in finding a safe alternative.

Youth empowerment, the act of bringing out natural talents and energies of youth, is effective when youth join in partnerships with adults. Youth can realize an increase in individual self-worth and skills through empowerment that creates a positive impact in our communities. The participation of young people in the planning and implementation of services and in mobilizing community support for programs that affect their lives and those of their families is essential to their individual development and the success of the programs working with them.  For more information about SAVE 10 R.H.Y.P.
